The6Yard is built on respectful, quality football discussions. These guidelines help maintain the community we all want to be part of.

The Strike System
We use a 3-strike system to maintain community quality. Violations result in strikes:
Warning issued. Content removed. 24-hour posting cooldown.
7-day posting restriction. Final warning.
Permanent ban from The6Yard. No refunds.

Do's
- Share thoughtful tactical analysis
- Back up opinions with reasoning
- Engage constructively with different viewpoints
- Report content that violates guidelines
- Welcome new members to discussions
- Use appropriate language
- Credit sources when sharing stats or quotes
- Stay on topic in discussions
Don'ts
- Post hate speech or discrimination
- Personally attack other members
- Spam or post repetitive content
- Share illegal streaming links
- Dox or share personal information
- Troll or deliberately provoke
- Create multiple accounts
- Impersonate players, managers, or journalists
Content Guidelines
Discussion Quality
- Posts should contribute meaningfully to the conversation
- Low-effort posts (single emoji, "this", etc.) may be removed
- Use descriptive titles when starting discussions
- Check for existing discussions before creating duplicates
Match Day Chats
- Keep comments relevant to the match
- Avoid excessive caps lock or spam
- Celebrate goals, not injuries
- Be gracious in victory and defeat
Banter & Rivalries
- Friendly banter between rival fans is welcome
- Keep it light-hearted and good-natured
- Don't cross the line into personal attacks
- Historical tragedies are never acceptable banter material
AI Moderation
The6Yard uses AI-powered moderation to maintain community standards:
- Content is automatically scanned for violations
- Obvious violations are removed immediately
- Borderline cases are flagged for human review
- You can appeal any moderation decision by contacting support
- False positives happen - we'll always hear you out
Zero Tolerance
The following result in immediate permanent bans, no warnings:
- Racism, sexism, homophobia, or any discrimination
- Threats of violence or harm
- Sharing personal information (doxxing)
- CSAM or any illegal content
- Coordinated harassment campaigns
